Nealan's final-year project, supervised by Professor Norton Chadwick, was a spell designed to play to the mischievous nature of most of Nealan's magic, but be something that wouldn't make the Academia Magica look ridiculous in front of peer review. Professor Chadwick's insistence that any spell was field-tested on Nealan's peers may also have had something to do with its success.
The target begins to see the most disturbing sight that they can imagine as if it were real. This can contain sound and smell if appropriate to the disturbing sight in question.
This causes an equal chance of one of two effects:
- The target becomes panicked; or
- The target becomes fascinated
