This unique item is technically two, Mother's Love a Bastard Sword and Mother's Revenge a Heavy Shield. Mother's Love and Mother's Revenge possess a special version of the Mirrored enhancement, despite the fact that they are not the same weapon. The shield may still be enhanced as a shield for it normal price, only the weapon part is considered mirrored.
The pair act as +1 Elegant weapons and are both made of Urukke Steel. When wielded together by a Paladin, the set's true power is shown.
If the wielder of Mother's Love possess Lay on Hand, she may channel it through Mother's Love as a full-round action. If she does she deliver her healing in a 20 ft-radius burst centered on herself. She may exclude or include creature into the healing as she wish as a nonaction.
If the wielder of Mother's Revenge make a Shield Bash with her Smite Evil ability, she make a free Bull Rush against the struck creature, adding her Charisma modifier to the check. If she succeed she do not follow her target, if the target hit a solid obstacle it must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 Paladin level + the Paladin's Charisma modifier) or become Stunned for 1 round.
Mother's Love & Revenge is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
