Mobile Orbshelter[edit]
The mobile orbshelter is a massive spherical ball of brass and iron surrounded by various tubes, gears, pipes, and vents. The bottom have contains one or more vents which seem to be actively emitting a bright plasma which keeps the ship afloat, and small and animate claws to act as a landing legs and for grappling onto uneven surfaces. On one side is a large iris portal which opens up into the ship itself. This amazing device is both vehicle and architecture, for it is a flying magitech home created by dwarves who heretically wished to sail the sky and leave the comfort of their rocky abodes.
As a home, it consists of three floors of rooms which vary from unit to unit, but consist of at least one bedroom, kitchen, storage, restrooms and baths, and at least one forge (generally on the lower floor) which was used to help create replacement parts for the ship, as well as an engine room at the bottom over the reactor and an observatory on the top floor. A control center for the vehicle is located in the center of the sphere. All in all, the sphere is about 25 ft radius (50 ft diameter) with 10 ft tall rooms for about 5672 sq/ft of useable space (barring the top and bottom). The entrance leads to the 2nd floor in the center.
Above the third floor is a complex magitech construction that works as the house's eyes and brain, and provides a skylight to observe the stars above. Below the bottom floor is the reactor, a complicated engine of ill understood properties that seems to absorb ambient magic or consumes magical fuels and converts it into the propulsion to keep the ship afloat. For the most part the fuel is effectively unlimited and does not require refilling. Prolonged exposure to the reactor is not recommended.
As a vehicle, the mobile orbshelter is capable of hovering in place and has a fly speed of 30 ft (perfect). It is capable of running without stopping, and can be commanded via its control panel to relocate itself anywhere it is instructed, provided it has maps or directions. It also can approach its owner on command, as long as it is within 1 mile. Ownership is generally passed down from whoever created it, or it could be gained over 1 week of attunement to the vehicle. It can be instructed to obey the orders of multiple people, but is no more intelligent than a mindless construct.
An advanced version of the mobile orbshelter exists with an in-build planar shift engine. It is capable of using plane shift on itself and all its occupants over the course of 5 rounds, but requires a 12 hour cooldown before it can be used again. This version comes pre-built with an airtight architecture effect.
The mobile orbshelter is primarily made of metal on its exterior with hardness 10 and an inch thin of metal exterior.
