Mechanized Armor[edit]
In higher technology setting, inventors made all kinds of improvements to armor. One of such attempts was to allow armor to move on its own. While making a fully autonomous armor was a failure, it was found that limited mechanized capacity assisted the wearer while moving in armor.
Requirements[edit]
In order to create mechanized armor, the crafter must have at least 5 ranks in craft (technology) or a craft (clockwork).
Mechanized Armor[edit]
A mechanized armor weighs twice as much as its base weight when not worn. While worn however the wearer is encumbered only by half of the base armor weight. A mechanized armor has an armor check penalty of 2 points less than the base armor.
A mechanized armor requires a fusion cell to function, which last for 1 year before needing to be replaced.
Cost: 1,000 + twice the cost of the base or masterwork armor.
