This type of spell book is used by wizards who find themselves in more Marshall situations than they would like. This spellbook is made with reinforced iron plates and that are so expertly designed they protect the pages within and the wizard who weilds this book from harmfrom most harm.

This book can be used as a shield dew to its size and hearty construction granting the wielder a +2 to AC.
