You grow a small vividly colored magical mushroom in your hands. The mushroom is charged with energy and will explode in a 10-ft-radius burst color spray (eiji) centered on it. If a creature fails its save against the effect it is also affected by a lesser confusion effect for 1 round/level.
It can be thrown with a range of 10-ft and it explodes 3 rounds after its creation, although you may detonate it early as a free action. Alternatively the channeler may create a stable mushroom that lasts for 1 minute per level, but shrivels and dies harmlessly once the duration passes. She may only have a single mushroom in creation at any time, whenever she creates a new mushroom the previously created mushroom immediately shrivels and dies.
Alternatively if a creature consumes the mushroom it must make a Fortitude save or become confused for 1 hour and gain a minor psychosis. In a non-combat situation, any rolls on the confusion table making the creature attack another creature becomes "Do nothing but babble incoherently".
