Maestro Forms[edit]
This is a common set of rules for Maestro classes, that allows them to be cross-compatible.
Maestro Forms are a type of supernatural ability, where the Maestro rolls dice at the start of their turn to invest into forms in order to use them.
Prestiging: The Maestros can prestige as though they were an arcane spellcaster who could cast spells a wizard of their Maestro level could cast. Prestige classes that advance arcane spellcasting may instead advance Maestro forms, flourishes and dice as though they had gained a level in a Maestro class they have levels in.
Whim Dice[edit]
Maestros have a number of Basic, Master, and Ultra Whim Dice according to their total combined level in all Maestro classes, as shown on the chart.

Whim Dice: Whim Dice are ordinary d6s. At the start of the Maestro's turn, they may choose any forms that currently have dice invested in them, and take out all dice from those forms, then roll all dice that are not currently invested in any form. Any ongoing forms that have had their dice removed, end. The Maestro can now use the rolled dice to activate forms as needed.
Master Dice: The Maestro gains access to Master Dice at higher levels, which behave in all ways like Whim Dice, except: when a Basic Form counts the number of pips on a die for something (other than qualifying to be put in the slot at all), the Master Die counts as having twice as many pips.
Master Forms: Master forms are higher level forms that cannot use Basic dice.
Ultra Dice: Ultra Dice behave in all ways like Whim Dice, except: when a Basic or Master Form counts the number of pips on a die for something (other than qualifying to be put in the slot at all), the Ultra Die counts as having twice as many pips.
Ultra Forms: Ultra forms are higher level forms that cannot use Basic or Master dice.

Forms (Su): Maestros know a number of forms indicated by the table, but they only have access to a portion of them at any given time. With 15 minutes of focused meditation, the Maestro can prepare a number of the forms they know indicated on the table. Forms are supernatural abilities. The same form can be prepared more than once, allowing them to keep some copies of it sustained while activating others. Save DCs use whichever ability score their first Maestro class specifies.
Flourishes: A higher level Maestro begins to specialize their forms, adding their own distinctive flourishes to them. Flourish choices cannot be changed. Each form can only have one flourish added to it.
Forms are expressed as follows:
Name — Type Ongoing forms keep the dice in them when activated and continue to function until the dice are removed. Non-Ongoing forms expend the dice until they're rerolled, and the slots become empty again, ready to use remaining dice. Active forms require an action to activate, while passive forms you must merely put the dice into on your turn and then they function.
- What kind of body part the caster must have in order to use it
- whatever dice slots the forms uses to activate, indicated in square brackets. All dice slots must be filled. [Any] means any die is acceptable. [4] means only a die with a value of 4 may be used. [Even] means the die must be even. [4+] means any die with a value of 4 or higher is acceptable. [4-] means any die with a value of 4 or less is acceptable.
- range at which the form can be activated. If it's ongoing it may continue to function after leaving range
- target/area
- save, if any
- action type to activate
effect
- flourishes:
- A flourish, with the die slots needed to activate it listed first, followed by name, followed by what it does. Flourish dice in a non-Ongoing form remain in their slots and continue to apply to further uses of the form until your next turn, even when the dice in the form itself are expended.
