A strange ring made on the request of a evil prince who somehow had and lacked foresight. He loved to fool around with peasant girls, but knew bastards could potentially sabotage his later life plans.
A simple, unassuming golden ring. Any child conceived while the ring is worn do not belong to the same 'lineage'. The parentage cannot be divine even by magical effect such as the detect parentage spell. Similarly the child do not gain the ability to wield magic items made for the parent's lineage or similar effect. The ring do not prevent the child from looking like the parent, or the transmission of the dragonblooded subtype. It simply make it as if a very similar person, who is the not wearer conceived the child instead.
A divination or stronger spell can reveal the trick, but only a wish or miracle can reverse it.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, alter self.
