Know Death [Salient Ability]
Speaking of curiosity, you're curious about what happens after you die, right? Guess what: I know. You're going to find out first hand before I finish explaining it, though, so I won't bother.Prerequisites: Divine Rank 1Benefit: The deity is under a constant deathwatch effect, and gains LifesightLM as a bonus feat.
As a standard action the deity can mark up to one creature per divine rank within line of sight. They can maintain a number of creatures equal to their divine rank at one time. From that point on the deity knows their health and condition as if under the effect of status, up to and including the creature's exact hit point total. This bond is kept no matter how far a distance they subsequently travel, even to other planes. However if the creature is on another plane, you lose knowledge of direction and distance of the marked creature. This lasts until you re-assign your marks, or the creature dies. When the creature dies you become aware of the exact circumstances and cause, but not the reasons or other information. Unwilling creatures get a Will save to negate (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Cha modifier) and become immune to further attempts for 24 hours on a successful save. Effects which block divinations such as mind blank can block the effect of this ability, if the caster level is higher than the deity's character level.
