Endless Decanters | The Kitten of Endless Decanters can spend a standard action to fire Decanters from it's mouth. It has three settings, Stream, Fountain and Geyser. See below to see what each setting does. |
Cat Nap | When the Kitten of Endless Decanters naps for at least 20 uninterrupted minutes, it heals 1d12 damage. This ability can be used only once per hour. |
Endless Decanter settings[edit]
Stream: The Kitten of Endless Decanters fires off 1 decanter towards an enemy. This deals 1 damage.
Fountain: The Kitten of Endless Decanters fires off 5 decanters towards an enemy. This deals 1d3 damage. The Fountain effect causes considerable back pressure, requiring the Kitten to make a DC 12 Strength check to avoid being thrown back 10 feet and knocked down.
Geyser: The Kitten of Endless Decanters fires off 30 decanters towards an enemy. This deals 1d6 damage. The geyser effect causes even more back pressure, requiring the Kitten to make a DC 16 Strength check to avoid being thrown back 20 feet, receive 1d3 points of damage and knocked down. If the kitten succeeds the check, the kitten is only knocked back 10 feet and knocked down
Strategies and Tactics[edit]
The average, non-domesticated Kitten of Endless Decanters will try it's best to act like a regular kitten, and only reveal it's endless decanter nature when threatened. It will avoid using its fountain and geyser settings unless it is necessary for its survival.
A domesticated Kitten of Endless Decanters will usually lounge around like an average domesticated housecat. However, don't be surprised if a Kitten of Endless Decanters occasionally uses a decanter or two to assault a mouse, small insect or other threat to your home's safety. Most owners of a Kitten of Endless Decanters can benefit from a maid, because of the glass shards everywhere inside his/her house.
Ecology[edit]
Kittens of Endless Decanters have a similar ecology to regular mundane cats.
Familiars[edit]
Kittens of Endless Decanters can be a familiar to a spellcaster of at least 3rd level with the Improved Familiar feat. If the Wizard/Sorcerer previously had a regular cat as a familiar before taking Improved Familiar, they can transform their cat into a Kitten of Endless Decanters at no cost.
