Iron Kanabo Warrior
A iron kanabo warrior is a samurai who wears the heaviest armor and relish in brutal melee combat. They eschew the use of a bow and a mount, instead relishing on the use of heavier weaponry such as the nodachi, naginata and tetsubo. Their status on the battlefield makes them fearsome warriors.
Class: Samurai
Level: 1st-19th
Replaces: Mount, Mounted Archery, Banner, Greater Banner
Benefit: A great armor hulk
Weapon Proficiency: In addition to the normal proficiencies granted to the samurai, the iron kanabo warrior gains proficiency with the tetsubo.
Armor Training (Ex): A 3rd level iron kanabo warrior gains armor training as a fighter of her class level. She may take Advanced Armor Training as a fighter of her class level. At 19th level she gains the armor mastery class feature of a fighter.
This ability replaces mount.
Battlefield Menace (Ex): A iron kanabo warrior is an intimidating presence on the battlefield. capable of making lesser men cower. At 4th level she gain Dazzling Display as a bonus feat even if she does not meet the prerequisites, and while wearing medium or heavy armor she gain half her level as a bonus on Intimidate check.
Additionally, when the iron kanabo warrior declares her challenge she may use her Dazzling Display as a free action.
This ability replaces mounted archer.
Towering Iron (Ex): A 5th level iron kanabo warrior is an ironbound mountain of muscle, which cannot easily be toppled. While standing and wearing medium or heavy armor, a iron kanabo warrior adds her Constitution to her CMB. If an opponent fail a CMB attempts against the iron kanabo warrior, the iron kanabo warrior may attempt a intimidate check made to demoralize opponents against that opponent as a free action at the start of her next turn.
This ability replaces banner and greater banner.
