Throwing a blot of ink like a flask, Marsilla revealed the position of the invisible rogue.
You throw an ink blot at a square. Creatures in the area are covered in sticky ink, receiving a -1 penalty to all rolls that involve body movement, such as attacks or some phyiscal skill checks. Invisibile creatures are outlined by the ink covering them until they spend a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity to wash themselves (or wash in other ways, such as moving into running water).
You may upcast this spell in a 2nd level slot to increase the are to a 10-ft cube (3 meters) and to entangle opponents that fail a Reflex save. Targets may flee the effect with an Escape Artist or Strength check beating the spell's DC
If you cast this spell underwater it works differently, covering a 5-ft or 10-ft (1,5 or 3 meters) cube (depending if the spell was upcast) within range with a cloud of ink. The cloud still outlines invisible creatures and provides total concealment. All vision within the cloud is obscured. The ink dissipates in running or flowing water in 1 round or after a minute in calm water.
Material Component: Ink in a small inkwell for 5 gp of value.
