Improvised Combatant [Fighter]
You have a survivalist mindset. To you, everything is a weapon. The spoon on your table. The ink pen in your pocket. The skull of your enemy. Nothing is beyond your grasp.Prerequisites: 1st level only or BAB +1, Int 13, and Wis 13Benefit: You become proficient in improvised weapon. Match the object up to the closest weapon to determine its statistics. Unlike normal improvised weapons, your critical range may be something besides 20/x2 if similar to an appropriate weapon.
Example: A glass bottle is similar to a club, dealing 1d6 bludgeoning, 20/x2, and with a 10 ft. throwing range. Breaking the bottle transforms it into something closer to a dagger, becoming 1d4 slashing, 19-20/x2, and 10 ft. throwing range.Normal: Improvised weapons are at a -4 penalty, and always have a 20/x2 critical.Special: Improvised weapons are treated as one kind of weapon for the purpose of skills and feats such as Weapon Focus. Some obtain masterwork or enchanted versions of their favorite improvised weapons, and may enhance such items as if they were actual weapons.
