Immobilizing Gaze [Racial]
You have learned a safe version of your petrifying gaze, allowing you to freeze them in place.Prerequisites: Medusine, Stony Gaze racial featureBenefit: When using stony gaze, you may opt to deal no damage and instead immobilize a creature that fails it Fortitude save for 1d4+1 rounds. If the immobilized creature is dealt damage, it is automatically free from this effect at the start of its next turn. If you use an immobilizing gaze on a creature already immobilized by it, it becomes unable to act beyond taking mental action. Much like if it was paralyzed except that it is not helpless.
If the medusine has the Petrifying Gaze feat, the effect of this feat lasts for as long as the target remains in the line of sight of the medusine. As normal, damage ends this effect.
A medusine may release a creature from this effect as a free action.
