Illuminator, Elan [Metapsionic, Racial] By the power vested in me, blah, blah, blah. Welcome to your new life kid! Now go away, you bother me.Prerequisites: Elan 12 HD. Skills: Knowledge (Psionics) 15 ranks, and Psicraft 15 ranks.Benefit: Any Elan with this feat can "make" new Elans. Ronen Kine, being an Elan himself and familiar with the Elan translation process he endured, developed this technique after watching the special ritual the Quori Mindhunters (MoE 78) initiate their ranks with. Ronen fuses with his initiate. Then the fused entity or Initiator produces random psychic emissions causing the researched quori to come and investigate. When it appears, the Initiator must disable the Quori in combat. Once the Initiator has disabled it, Ronen separates from the initiate. The initiate must then become psionically focused. The initiate must then establish mental contact with the disabled quori. Then, a Psicraft check is required (DC 25). Finally, Ronen and the initiate step out of the dreamscape, along with a projection of the weakened quori spirit. The Initiate then expends his/her psionic focus and completes the ritual, binding the subjugated quori spirit into a prison within the New Made (1st Character Level) Elan's mind. The body of the quori continues to float in the pocket dreamscape, completely hidden within the morass of the ever-changing dimension while the New Made Elan enjoys the psionic power provided by the Quori without any influence or control from it.
