Herculean Creature[edit]
The children sired by the Gods tend to possess incredible abilities due to the divine spark dwelling in them. Sometime the divinity show in surge of raw power, simply adding to the children's existing ability. An Herculean Creature is such a creature, it divine energy having simply increased it Strength beyond what is normally possible. Herculean Creature are very rare, when they show up they tend to be humanoids, usually medium in size.
Creating a Herculean Creature[edit]
The Herculean Creature template is an inherited template which can only be added to any living creature.
Ability Scores: A Herculean Creature gain a +8 bonus to Strength and a +4 bonus to Constitution. However since their strength is from a divine origin, these bonuses do not stack with any size bonus.
Size and Type: A Herculean Creature's type do not change. The only exception is if the template is added to a creature of the Animal Type, at which point it type change to Magical Beast.
Skills: A Herculean Creature gain a +4 bonus on Intimidate checks and Strength-based skill checks.
Feat: A Herculean Creature gain Access Divine Power with one of it parent deity's domain as a bonus feat.
Special Quality: A Herculean Creature gain the following special qualities:
Divine Spark: An Herculean Creature is partially a deity, they are immortal and do not age past adulthood. They never receive any bonus or penalty due to aging, cannot die of old age and cannot be magically aged. They may still be killed as normal.
Incredible Lift (Ex): An Herculean Creature's carrying capacity is calculated if they were a Gargantuan creature or a creature two size category larger, whichever is better.
Heroic Struggle (Ex): An Herculean Creature can use combat maneuvers such as grapple, bull rush, trip, etc on creature of any size. These creature only receive half their normal size bonus to those check against the Herculean Creature.
