Heavily Accented

You have a heavy-accent from your native language, which bleeds into all language you speak.

Benefit: You gain a bonus language at 1st level.

Drawback: Choose a regional or racial language that you are able to speak. When speaking in any other language (including common) you have a terribly obvious accent of the chosen language, often mixing words and expressions from it. Beside making your mother's tongue obvious, those that do not know the chosen language cannot make out what you are saying to you while in a stressful situation, having to listen carefully to understand you. The heavy accent also imposes a –2 penalty on Charisma-based skill checks while speaking in any other language than the chosen language. This penalty does not affect sign language or writing.

Special: This trait can be taken as a pathfinder drawback, ignoring the normal benefits.

Roleplaying Ideas: You are probably quite adept at speaking the chosen language.
