Harpoon Hero [Fighter, Tactical]
From hell's heart I stab at thee!Prerequisites: BAB +1, Proficiency with Harpoon Guns.Benefit: You gain several tactical uses with a Harpoon Gun, as shown below.
- Harpoon Maneuvers: Your harpoon gun can be used as 3D Maneuver Gear, and counts as such for the purpose of feats and abilities.
- Harpoon Hogtie: If you successfully activate Ride the Titan on a creature two sizes larger than you or bigger, you can spend a full attack action dropping down and spinning around the limbs of the creature you are riding. Make a grapple check using your Strength or Dexterity, and the target gains a penalty to grapple checks for their size instead of a bonus. If successful the creature's movement speed is reduced to 5 ft as they are immobilized from the ropes which tie them up. Even if you fail, the creature is entangled until you retract your harpoon or the creature takes a move action to free themselves.
- If the creature that is tied up and attempts to move, they must attempt to break your grapple check. If they are successful your ropes are loosened and the immobilizing ends. If they fail, they fall prone. A creature bound by this effect can try to free itself with a standard action and a successful grapple check.
- Ride the Titan: When you embed your harpoon into a creature you can move when they move. When a target of a size one larger than you or bigger moves you can choose to move along with them from the trailing rope. In addition the DC for negating the Con damage from removing a harpoon is DC 20 or 10 + 1/2 BAB + Dexterity, if higher.
- Stable Shooter: You may fire a harpoon gun one handed without penalty, but only within the first range increment.
