This feat is a Very High level of balance for Greater Spell Focus. It is meant to make you have some unique abilities related to the spell school for specializing in it. The goal is to make it lucrative for a specialist wizard to take spell focus for schools outside their specialty.
Greater Spell Focus: Necromancy [General]
Benefit: Greater Spell Focus: Necromancy feat bonuses are based on your Hit Dice and stack with Spell Focus: Necromancy.
- 1 HD: +1 to save DCs of necromancy spells you cast.
- 6 HD: You don't need to provide onyx gemstones when animating or creating undead creatures.
- 11 HD: You have permanent deathwatch as an extraordinary ability.
- 16 HD: You are immune to any effect that moves your soul, unwillingly, from your body, even if you are currently dead. This includes effects like magic jar, soul bind, and trap the soul.
