The Graven family are a group of Necromancers whom try to use their skills for good and not evil. It is believed that they hold many spells in that school that remain unknown because of of the power necromancy holds.

Furthermore, it has been known that even the younger of the family members can learn necromancy at a extremely young age. The youngest known was a elf at the age of 85.

Lastly, they instill in their children a high sense of good and morality.

They must be any good alignment for have this bloodline.

This remains unknown to mostly everyone including family members. Only the three heads of the family truly know.

The bloodline affects the one whom manifest it in two ways. One they gain a knowledge of the art of necromancy in such as way that they learn necromancy spells in half the time it would take others. Second, they are born with the power to talk to the dead and undead and can reason with them.

Elves and Half-elves Affinity: You gain the indicated bonus on all Bluff, Diplomacy, Gather Information, Intimidate, and Perform checks made to interact with Paladins, usually LG and CG, are generally hateful to them just because they have the ability this bloodline.. Young Magic: Members of this bloodline have the ability to learn magic at a young age and quicker than most others whom study and practice magic. Therefore they may start at a simple age and know spells that would usually take many years to master. However, this only applies to the school of necromancy.. Quick read of the dead: If they are trying to a necromancy spell it only takes them half the time to learn it.. Greater Knowledge for the weak: They gain a +2 to Intelligence but take a -2 to Strength. My skeleton friend: When they are young the first spell they are taught is a family spell called "Undead Protector" . This allows them to summon a undead fighter with 1d10 + the user's CON mod. The stats for the Undead fighter a the user's stats - to each. This lasts 1d6 + user's INT mod minutes. If the undead fighter is killed or the spell wears off they user can't cast the spell for 30 minutes.. RIP: They may use Diplomacy on the undead.. Speak no evil: Any Necromancy spell that is evil they cannot learn. They may only learn good and neutral necromancy spells.. Exalted Resurrection: If their Wisdom is 30 and their Intelligence is 25 they gain 'Exalted Resurrection'. This allows them to bring back the dead to life. However, they may not gain control of the person and if they bring an evil person back to life they become of the same alignment of they Graven that brought them back..
