This magical goop, when eaten, causes the consumer to gain 2 pounds in weight for every 1 pound of goop that he consumed. A serving of goop for a Medium-sized creature is 1 pound. This goop is so deliciously tasty that when tasted, the taster must make a Will save DC 12 or be compelled to finish off a full serving (or whatever is available) and be ready for more, making another Will save. With each failed save, and each serving eaten, the DC to consume another serving reduces by 1. Serious threats of harm will snap the eater out of the compulsion.
Goop adds a +4 circumstance bonus on Craft (cooking) skill checks. By itself, goop is a light gray color with a fluffy, creamy texture and mixes well with most foods. Upon inspection, with detect magic, it glows with a faint aura of Transmutation magic. A creature cannot gain weight by way of goop's magical effects if it is beyond twice of what is possible in its race's average weight (or that is to say, already rotundly obese if tracking that sort of thing is a pain).
A single jar of goop contains 20 servings.
