When you invoke this power, you loosen the threads holding your body together, allowing you to separate pieces of yourself from the whole, and then control them at a distance. This allows you to replicate the effects of the published invocations Crawling Eye and Disembodied Hand Complete Mage, but you are not limited to hands and eyes, and can in fact separate any part of your body from the rest. You can have a number of separated parts at one time equal to the better of your Charisma or Constitution modifier (except if your Constitution modifier is negative, in which case, subtract it from your Charisma modifier).
Generally, a body part is two or more size categories smaller than your own (an entire arm or leg is two sizes smaller, a hand, foot, your head, etc, is three smaller, an eye or an individual finger is four, and so on). Different body parts have different forms of movement--eyes will crawl on veins like spider-legs, hands can float or crawl using their fingers, feet will hop around, and so on. Consider them to be appropriately sized animated objects for these purposes.
You can detach your head through this invocation, in which case you are a head, and can crawl on spidery legs or fly around at a speed of 30 ft (Good) and 1 hp per HD. You retain your mental faculties and abilities which do not require hands, a body, etc to use (so, you can speak, and cast spells which don't require somatic components, but not make claw attacks or attacks with a held weapon). Your body remains inert, but you can separate and control individual parts from it while you are a head, which would allow you to perform somatic components if you are controlling your hands.
Small body parts have 2 hp per your HD and AC 12, Tiny parts have 1 hp per your HD and AC 15, Diminutive body parts have 5 hp and AC 20, and Fine parts have 2 hp and AC 20.
Of course, generally, body parts other than eyes, hands, and your head probably aren't particularly useful as separate pieces, but the option is there. Also, you may take the feat Fall to Pieces as if you were Undead, happy birthday.
If a part is destroyed while separated from you, it regrows over a period of 1d4 hours, during which time, you suffer the normal effects of missing that body part.
