The spell creates a lance of fire in her hands, the flames are chaotic and hungry as she hurls it toward you.
Gaban's mastery of fire allowed her to combine chaotic aether energy and fire into a single spear. The sheer energy of the spear makes it impossible to hold for more than 3 rounds before dissipating. As soon as the spear leaves the caster's hand it becomes incredibly unstable and will dissipate at the end of the round. The spear must be thrown as a standard action, requiring line of sight and a ranged touch attack within long range.
When the firelance hits its target, it deals 1d8/levels (max 5d8) fire damage.
Channel: Gaban's Chaos Firelance can be channeled in the following ways.
- Lesser: When the lance impacts, it explodes in 10 ft. area. All creatures that are not the primary target take are granted a reflex save for half damage.
- Lesser: Halves resistance to fire against the firelance. The firelance deals +1 damage per d8.
- Lesser: Increases the firelance impact damage by +1d8. Can be applied multiple times but no more than once per caster level.
- Greater: Does not expend the spell slot used to prepare the spell/spell per day. Only applies if the Gaban's Chaos Firelance was cast with a 2nd level spell-slot/spell per day.
