This totem is inscribed with arcane runes and topped with a crystal ball in a metal frame. When active, the orb filled with smoke and dull pulsing light.
Used for strongholds, this totem is a focus for any spell which has a Concentration duration, such as mirage arcana or silent image. When cast while touching the totem, the totem takes over concentration using whatever requirements you placed upon the spell, and using the original caster's level and DCs. It can maintain concentration forever, until stopped with a secret command word or the crystal is broken (hardness 3, 40 hp). The totem is considered the caster for the spell, making it useless for Personal spells.
While not normally a Concentration spell, hallucinatory terrain counts as one for the purpose of this item.
The crystal is worth 1000 gp and can be replaced as long as the frame is intact.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, permanency.
