A small silver chest model hits the ground and expands outward with a loud BOING.
Throwing a feather token (chest) produces a silver chest about 1 cu ft in size. Any volume of material can be placed in this chest, so long as it can be passed through the chest's top (1 ft square) and as long as it doesn't exceed 600 lbs in weight. Regardless of the contents, the chest always only weighs 5 lbs, and if dropped or thrown it gently sails through the air as if under feather fall. It is not strong enough to slow the fall of creatures heavier than 10 lbs.
Living things may be placed in the chest, but only one living creature at a time. It can be locked (Open Lock DC 25) but can always be opened from the inside. The chest lasts for 24 hours, and if items are not removed by the end of the duration they are lost on the Astral Plane when the chest vanishes. The chest begins to pulse visibly and audably during the last 5 minutes of its existance.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, secret chest.
