A flaming skull began to shudder as it erupted into a fireball in your face.
This spell summons a short lived elemental-like creature which appears and moves up to 30 ft a round. At the end of its movement it explodes into a small fireball, dealing 1d6 fire per two caster levels (maximum 10d6 at 20th) in a 10 ft radius burst with a Reflex save DC equal to the DC of this spell. It does this for 3 rounds before vanishing, or until destroyed. Treat is as a small fire elemental with AC 11 + your casting modifier as a dodge bonus, your saving throws, and 5 hp/level. It doesn't provoke for movement or entering spaces but otherwise has no attacks other than exploding.
You can command its movement as a free action at the start of your turn, otherwise it remains chasing its original target until commanded otherwise.
