Composed of pants with enlarged hips to hold artificial muscles, and long metallic legs and feet that transform your gait into a digitigrade way of walking.
Designed by a shortfolk scientist tired of not being able to reach the top shelf, the exped frame is an exoskeleton to extend one's gait. It doubles one's effective height, though it does not change your size category or provide you reach. Your base land speed increases by +5 ft. The design of legs grants effective immunity against caltrops. These effects are entirely mundane.
By taking a standard action, you can supercharge your legs for a powerful jump made before the end of your next turn, gaining a +10 enhancement bonus on Jump checks and counting as having a running start. You also have superior balance, counting as a masterwork skill tool for balance checks, and always landing on your feet from jump checks even if the result is a failure. Reduce all fall damage as if it were 20 ft lower than normal.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, jump.
Cost to Create: 1500 gp, 120 EXP, 3 days.
