Ethical Necromancer

By swearing an oath, you have learned to purge many necromantic raising spells of evil.

Benefit: You may cast animate dead, create undead and create greater undead and similar spells without the [evil] descriptor.

Drawback: You swear to never create any intelligent undead, or attempt to control them. If you willingly commit such an act, you lose the benefits of this trait until you receive an atonement spell. If you gain control of an intelligent undead, either by accident or necessity, you may not violate your oath if you destroy or free it at the first reasonable opportunity to do so.

Roleplaying Ideas: You may have an oath to control or destroy uncontrolled undead, or perhaps you are simply a necromancer with a conscience.
