An Emperor Sword is a very rare, fine and well-balanced hybrid between a greatsword and a lancet and it's typically used by emperors in duels. with its elaborated handguard and elegant blade, designed for effective slashing blows but also for precise thrusts, the Emperor Sword is very expensive and it is always always a masterwork weapon. A character proficient with the Emperor Sword can use it two-handed in conjunction with the Weapon Finesse feat, applying her Dexterity bonus (if any) to melee attacks made with the weapon.
A character without Exotic Weapon proficiency can use an Emperor Sword as a Greatsword for slashing attacks or as a Lancet for thrusting attacks. Characters proficient with the Emperor Sword may treat it as a Greatsword or a as Lancet for the purpose of any of the following feats: Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical, Weapon Focus, and Weapon Specialization.
