1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

A strange weapon which can be described as a mix between a quarterstaff and an oar. It is fairly heavier than typical quarterstaff while being lighter than the typical oar. It act as a martial quarterstaff except the oar part of the weapon deal 1d8 instead of 1d6 damage. It can be used as an oar with no penalty.

A wielder with exotic weapon proficiency with the Eku gain access to the following Weapon Arts:

Doubletap: As part of a full attack action you may make an opposed Strength check. If successful you can choose to knock your opponent back 5 ft with every successful attack you make, and you may also choose to advance 5 ft forward each time you make a successful attack. If three or more attacks hit, your opponent is staggered for 1 round.
Guarded Stance: When a a wielder with the exotic weapon proficiency fight defensively, take the total defense action or use the Combat Expertise feat while wielding an Eku in two-hands they cannot be flanked.
Slashing Strike: A wielder with exotic weapon proficiency may use the Eku to deal slashing damage with the oar part of the weapon.
Throw Dirt: As an attack action the wielder of the Eku may partially bury it sand or dirt, then immediately throw it at her enemies's eyes. This is treated as a Feint attempt that leave the target Blinded for 1 round if successful. This weapon art require dirt, sand or other debris as well as the wielder to be on the ground.

The Eku count as a Quarterstaff whenever doing so would be beneficial, with the exception of proficiency. A monk proficient with the Eku count it as a Special Monk Weapon.
