Eater of Souls [Archetype]
Prerequisites: Non-Good alignment.Benefit: See below.
Special: If you ever stop qualifying for this feat, you can trade it for another archetype feat you meet the prerequisites.
Archetype Feat Bonus are based on HD.
- 1 HD: You recover health from things you slay or things dying near you. Every time you kill a creature or a creature dies within 15 ft of you, you recover a number of hp equal to its CR.
- 3 HD: You can consume souls as if you were using a thinaun weaponCW. You can only store a single soul at a time, and you can consume, or release, a soul as a free action. Consuming a soul does not destroy it, and it is released. When you consume a soul you may gain one of the following benefits:
- Boost Roll: Your next d20 roll gets a +4 profane bonus on the next check.
- Recover: You recover hp and ability damage as if you had rested for 8 hours.
- Relieve Status: You can attempt another saving throw on a status effect currently afflicting you as the escaping soul carries the affliction away. You can only reroll once per status effect.
- 8 HD: You can now store up to 2 souls at once. You can also use the Imprison Soul class feature of a 7th level soul reaver.
- 15 HD: You can now store up to 3 souls at once. You can now expend a soul to ignore a debilitating or fatal condition, even death, for 1 round. However you cannot absorb souls in any round you have used this ability, and after 3 rounds and 3 souls you will be unable to resist any longer.
