A spell developed by a mythical heroine Ri-oshiin, it summons a huge bolt of red lightning from the sky which she used to decimate her giant foes.
Upon starting casting this spell the sky above becomes stormy and it’s hue shifts to red. Once the casting is finished, a massive bolt of red lightning strikes an area within range. All creatures and objects within the area take 2d4 points of electricity damage per caster level, with a Reflex save allowed for half. All struck creature must also make a Fortitude save or become stunned for 1 round, a success leaving staggered instead.
If used against a creature that is gargantuan or larger, the spells deal an additional +1 point of damage per dice.
The electricity damage from this spell ignore electricity immunity granted by the Lightning Rod and a Lightning Powered creature's Absorb Electricity ability. Instead they take a -2 penalty on saving throws against this spell.
This spell requires direct access to the sky in order to function. After casting, the area within 1 mile of the caster is considered to be stormy for 3 rounds then resumes to normal. The height of the cylinder reaches the clouds and thus its height might vary.
