Dusk Wisp
Evocation / Necromancy [Fire]
Level: Witch 1
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 Standard Action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets: Up to five creatures/objects, no two of which can be more than 15 ft. apart
Duration: Instantaneous or 10 minute/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell conjures a small mote of witchfire, which seeks out its targets, dealing 1d4+1 points of fire damage. The fire itself is incorporeal, and can fully damage an incorporeal creature and move through cover to strike its targets. If the wisps strike a target currently under the effect of one of your harmful hex (such as the Evil Eye hex), then it deals 1d6+1 damage each instead.

For every two caster levels beyond 1st, you gain an additional wisp– two at 3rd level, three at 5th, four at 7th, and the maximum of five wisps at 9th level or higher. If you shoot multiple wisps, you can have them strike a single creature or several creatures. A single wisp can strike only one creature. You must designate targets before you check for spell resistance or roll damage.

When you cast this spell, you may have any given wisps hover at a grid intersection within range instead of going directly to a target, until either activated or until 10 minutes per level passes. Any creature that comes within 10 feet of the wisp is immediately targeted by it, taking damage normally.
