With a roar the fighter's head was replaced by the vicious visage of a red dragon. His enemies were quickly engulfed in flames!
The dragon head stone is a small slab of rock which looks like it has a tiny fossilized dragon skull embedded within. The stone does not take up a body slot on its own, instead held in hand when used. The stone only functions for creatures which know Draconic. Activating the stone is a standard action, and the stone is absorbed in the body replacing the head of the creature with a dragon's head. The creature gains a bite attack (1d8 for medium creatures) and a breath weapon usable every 1d4 rounds, either as a 30 foot cone or 60 foot line (at your choosing). The breath weapon deals 1d6 points of fire damage every HD you possess, and the save DC is 10 + 1/2 HD + Constitution modifier, Reflex for half damage.
Any items in the head and face slots are suppressed during the transformation. The transformation lasts until the next time the user gets 8 hours of rest; the stone refuses to disengage without it. Head and face slot items cannot be used while the dragon head is active. After resting, the stone is ejected and the suppressed items return where they were.
If the user possesses both the dragon head stone and the dragon torso stone, they may activate both stones as part of the same standard action. If they do so they may choose to release a wave of energy during their transformation which knocks all adjacent creatures back 20 feet, with a Fortitude save vs falling prone (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Constitution modifier). A successful save halves the distance moved and negates prone.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, polymorph, must be dragonblooded and speak draconic.
