The archer picked out his target, an enemy locked in melee with one of his allies near the edge of the cliff. Thinking fast, he focused and drew his bow, calling on the silvery winds of the Astral plane, and let fly. His arrow hit with a satisfying "thunk", followed by the screams of his enemy as they were catapulted upwards into the air and over the edge of the cliff, vanishing from view and subsequently the realm of the living.

This functions exactly like Impaler Arrow, except that the distance the target is knocked away is doubled, and for every 10 feet they travel in this manner, they also travel upwards 5 feet, flinging them upwards and away from the initiator. Thus if the target would be bull rushed 20 feet, they go up 10 feet in the air on the way from point A to point B, taking fall damage as appropriate.

However, the initiator gets a +1 bonus on his bull rush check for every 10 feet closer than the first range increment the target is; For example, using a Composite Longbow (Range increment of 110 feet) to attack a target within 20 feet would gain a +9 bonus on his bull rush check to fling his target away from him, since 20 is 90 feet closer than 110. However, there is an equal penalty on the bull rush for every 10 feet beyond the first range increment the target is; Thus if the afore-mentioned archer was using this strike against a target 140 feet away, he would take a -3 penalty on the roll in addition to the penalty imposed by the range increment, because the target is 30 feet beyond his first range increment.
