Disciple of Peace
You greatly dislike violence; it makes you sick.
Benefit: Due to your non-threatening nature, non-hostile creatures are one step friendlier towards you than normal (to a maximum of Friendly). This is only an 'initial attitude' — if you take any actions that harm or offend them, their attitude will adjust appropriately. Additionally, since you spent most of your time being nonviolent, you gain an additional skill point per level.
Drawback: You cannot initiate hostilities unless they were first initiated. That usually means attacking you, threatening to kill hostages, or other situations where you or an innocent would come directly into harm by your inaction. If you violate your vow, you take a −4 penalties on all d20 roll for 24 hours; the duration is cumulative. Even necessary violence makes you sick; you take a −1 penalty on all attack rolls and to your armor class during and 10 minutes after fighting.
Roleplaying Ideas: Violence is icky; perhaps you have made a vow against violence, or maybe you believe it the last refuge of incompetence. Either way, you prefer to deal with problems in alternative ways.
