In most cases, items with extradimensional spaces do not interact well with each other. By affixing this pin to an item such as a portable hole or bag of holding, it suffers no ill effects from being brought into contact with another extradimensional space, allowing both items/effects to be used normally. This does not allow the pinned item to function under other conditions where it normally would not, such as within an antimagic field.
The pin can be removed and reaffixed by speaking the command word.
