The Planes

There are many unknown planes where many powerful creatures reside in. Rage, for example, keeps his school in a small quasi-plane. Only ragers, shadowwolves, and Rage know where this school is.

There are also planes that resemble other planes. For example, there are multiple variations of the Prime Material Plane. All of these "branch planes" follow the same laws (so, when it comes to all of the Prime Material Planes, the inhabitants could move to a different one and live there perfectly fine. However, it has never happened to where even most divinities could travel to a different "branch"

Cosmos

There are many stars that fill the sky, but many wizards study the moons more than the stars. Darkgate has two moons. One is about a quarter the size of the planet and gives off the glow of pure silver. It is said that this moon is representing James. The other moon is a quarter of the first moon (one-eighth the size of Darkgate) and is black with an outline of dark red. This second moon also gives off a very feint silvery light, allowing people to see the moon as a moon, not as a black hole in the sky. The name of the first moon is Vergandis, and the second moon is known as Vecta. No one knows where their names came from, but everyone uses these names, no matter the race or language.

Also, the inhabitants of Darkgate seem to view the Cosmos as academics. They view the stars as stars with possible nearby planets. There is no universally acknowledgement as to how many planets or even how many there could be. Two people could talk about the same star, but unless it is in a constellation, they may be arguing over what star they are talking about.

Then some say that Darkgate is at the center of the universe and everything revolves around the planet. Others say that Darkgate revolves around the sun, but the solar system is at the center of the universe. Then there is a third group that says not even the solar system is at the center. Clerics trying to communicate to the gods to have this question answered have always meant failed attempts, as the gods find it funny that mortals are willing to spend so much effort on something so minor.
