Complete Epic[edit]
Epic level is broken, and this is a shame. The game was built with no cap on advancement, but not playtested as such and the signs begin to show even before epic is reached. Most games might pull it all the way up to level 25, but beyond that is a land of madness, completely busted. Gentlemen, we can fix this. We can make epic smarter, tighter, more balanced. We have the technology, we can rebuild it. We can make.... Complete Epic.
This sourcebook attempts the impossible: balancing epic levels. The crude attempt in the Epic Level Handbook is a joke, not playtested or balanced in the slightest. I am Dr. Atomos, traveler of the many Great Wheels. I can see the world for what it is, build on dice and numbers, players and the playerless. Let's travel forth, and let me tell you of the worlds where those of great experience and power do not demolish the universe by their existing.
This supplement for the D&D game presents fixes for epic level gameplay, and replacements for nearly everything the Epic Level Handbook had to offer, and more.
