Shadow Colossus[edit]

Born from the edges of the elemental chaos, they are clever tricksters and malicious schemers. They are most often encountered in dark areas where very little light comes through, though they do not like being in absolute darkness either-- for fear of the chaos's destructive powers.

Shadow Colossus Tactics[edit]

When faced with a tough opposition, it will use Shadow Havoc to surprise its enemies-- making slam attacks against particularly tough opponents. When it is cornered, it will use Shadow Jaunt to get out of harm's way and continue its assault until it is critically wounded or destroyed.

Shadow Colossus Lore[edit]

A character knows the following information with a successful Arcana check.

DC 25: In the corners of the elemental chaos, strange forces are at work-- creating living beings that thrive in the darkness, yet utilize the light to keep their forms intact. From that moment of their existence, they loathe the darkest corners of the worlds due to the fear of their undoing from the destructive forces of the chaos itself. They are twisted, malevolent creatures-- utilizing their potential and exploiting their foes' weaknesses whenever possible.
DC 30: Some ritual have been done to allow these massive creatures to thrive where no light can reach them, and some have even been enchanted to protect themselves from the light in the material worlds-- though such occurrences are very rare.

Encounter Groups[edit]

Shadow Colossus are found mainly in solitary groups, or they can be paired with other colossus' as well. They don't really have an eye with other creatures other than those who share similar qualities.
