Book Of Books (3.5e Sourcebook)/Introduction
Authors notes[edit]
Ive always felt books should be more than one of following
- ¤fluff used to tell NPC is a wizard/or runs on main stat INT
- ¤5 wishes cramed onto paper (and why would the wizard ever make those books in the first place, so som adventures could come by and stop his retirement plan, kill him and get it???)
- ¤Hint about the plot / storires about the macgufian and or BBG
The last one I like and often use but if no other books with title realy exists, they realy stick out to much!
So ive looked around, read a few books and let this little book of books simmer in my mind for a few years, so without more introduction I presents to you: BoB
What is BoB[edit]
Chapter 1: Is about the rules of books, how to make them, read them and use the
Chapter 2: Is about the ancestral home of books, the libraries; what you can use them for, how you design them and a few examples of diffrent size.
Chapter 3: This is were the treasure is; the collected works, all the finished books. It also here you are more than welcome to advertise for your own homebrew, make a book that let the reader use your snazzy new Feat or a grimoir that is your full collection of homebrewed spells.
Chapter 4: Is feats, spells, classes and extra addon that play well with the rest of the book.
Why use BoB[edit]
So your setting feels alive, to hide the macgufin, becaus you like it or any other reason you can come up with. But in the end it like with any homebrew use it if you want and don't if you feel it would break the spirit of your group.
