Master Sophisticated Battle Maneuvers

Battle Masters focus on maneuvers to gain an advantage in combat.

Battle Master Features

7th Know Your Enemy 
10th Improved Combat Superiority

Combat Superiority

3rd, 7th, 10th, 15th level Battle Master feature.
Unofficial Summary: You gain access to Maneuvers and Superiority Dice.

  • Maneuvers. You gain a set number of Maneuvers. You learn additional maneuvers at Fighter levels 7, 10, and 15. You can use one per attack.
  • Superiority Dice. You have a number of Superiority Dice, which are d8s. A Superiority Die is expended when used. You recover Superiority Dice when you finish a short or long rest. You gain an additional Superiority Die at Fighter levels 7 and 15.
  • Saving Throws. If a maneuver requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Strength or Dexterity modifier plus your Proficiency Bonus

Student of War

3rd level Battle Master feature.
Unofficial Summary: Gain proficiency with a set of Artisan's Tools and a Skill (see Fighter skill options). 

Know Your Enemy

7th level Battle Master feature.
Unofficial Summary: Once per Long Rest use a Bonus Action to learn a creature's Immunities, Resistances, or Vulnerabilities. Can expend a Superiority Die to restore one use. 

Improved Combat Superiority

10th level Battle Master feature.
Unofficial Summary: Superiority Die is d10. 

Relentless

15th level Battle Master feature.
Unofficial Summary: Once per turn, you can roll a d8 instead of expending a Superiority Die when doing a maneuver

Ultimate Combat Superiority

18th level Battle Master feature.
Unofficial Summary: Superiority Die is d12. 5e24
