Amethyst Dragon Overview [1]
Amethyst dragons were neutral, logical dragons. They had lavender skin and crystal-like scales. Their breath weapon was a blast of concussive force, and they were known to burrow into the ground. They were also the most powerful of the gem dragons.
Amethyst Dragons are described in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons

Lair Actions
[3] When fighting inside its lair, an amethyst dragon can use lair actions. On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Beguiling Whisper.
- Imprisoning Force.
- Spatial Projection.
Regional Effects
- Background Check.
- Crystal Profusion.
- Watery Sight.
If the dragon dies, these effects fade over 1d10 days.
