This +1 darkwood light crossbow has been designed by a master weaponsmith following the plan laid by a brilliant alchemist. It is a fine specimen for a crossbow, with many technological innovations. On the side of the crossbow is a latch, which can be used to house alchemical agents. As a swift action, the wielder can insert an alchemical weapon, such as an acid flask, alchemist's fire or similar items. The next three attacks made with the crossbow deals 1d6 extra damage of the damage type dealt by the alchemical weapon.
If the wielder has the Explosive Missile discovery, she gains a +4 bonus on her attack roll made to deliver it if fired from an alchemist's crossbow. If an alchemical weapon was loaded into the crossbow, then both damage stacks, but the alchemist only adds her Intelligence bonus to damage once.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, spark, crafter must have the bomb class feature.
