Warp Seeker [Skill] Those pesky teleporting demons and Wizards won't get away from you so easily. Benefits: This is a skill feat that scales with your ranks in Survival.

  • 0 ranks: You can detect nearby points that were used as endpoints for teleportation (either the place where the teleport ability was activated, or where the creature/object ended up). This requires a DC 15 Survival check, with a +2 to the DC for every hour old this point is, and +1 to the DC for every 10' away the point is. Attempting to detect such points is a Swift or Move action.
  • 4 ranks: When you detect points with the Rank 0 ability of Warp Seeker, if you beat the DC by 5, you know where the other endpoint is in terms of direction and distance from your current location, and you also benefit from a glimpse of what could be seen from that endpoint at the time of casting.
  • 9 ranks: When a character begins initiating an action that will result in teleportation or the creation of a portal between places, if the target destination is within sight you automatically know that someone is going to teleport there. On a related note, teleporting into a space you threaten provokes an attack of opportunity from you, taken after the creature arrives.
  • 14 ranks: If you have detected an endpoint for teleportation, you can attempt to teleport from that endpoint to the other endpoint. Doing so takes a standard action as you touch this endpoint, and only succeeds if you succeed on a DC 25 Survival check (with a +2 to the DC for every hour old this point is). You may bring along (100 × your Survival check) pounds of touched objects and/or willing creatures with you.
  • 19 ranks: When you become aware of a teleportation effect from the Rank 9 ability of Warp Seeker, you may choose to prevent the teleportation as an immediate action. Doing so requires a Survival check opposed by the other character's Character level check (unless the effect is provided by an item, in which case one should use the item's Caster/Manifester level instead of the user's Character level). You get a -2 penalty to the check for every 10' away the target destination is.
