Basic spellcasters are usually following the orders and tactics of another, but left to their own devices they are trained in effective combat tactics. They are usually assigned to a group of soldiers, supporting them and being protected in turn.

Bonded Object: The typical vrajitor battlecaster chooses a ring as their bonded object. 1/day they may cast a spell from their spellbook, even if not prepared.

Spells: CL 2th, DC 15 + spell level. The following are the default spells typically prepared.

0th- acid splash, dancing lights, detect magic, mage hand

1st- ear-piercing scream^Pathfinder, enlarge person, mage armor, protection from good

Spellbook: This is the typical spellbook of a vrajitor battlecaster.

0th- All cantrips

1st- burning disarm^Pathfinder, ear-piercing scream^Pathfinder, enlarge person, grease, magic missile, protection from good, mage armor, ray of enfeeblement, silent image

Houserules: He gains an extra 1st level feat, 32 point buy, and maximum hp per HD. Mundane ammo is not tracked unless it costs more than 1 gp a piece. +1/+1 bonuses from leveling. The initial +1 enhancement to items can be waived before making it magic.
