Studious Soulsmith [General]
Prerequisites: Item AffinityBenefit: You can attempt to qualify as having encountered and identified an item in the past by making a Knowledge (Arcana) check (if it's magical) or a Knowledge (Psionics) check (if it's psionic) with a DC equal to 10 plus twice its caster/manifester level. If you fail the check for a particular item, you can't attempt it again until you gain ranks in the appropriate skill.
Normal: You have to have held the item for at least three rounds to qualify as having encountered and identified it.
