Bardic Familiar
Trade Suggestion and Mass Suggestion out for a familiar and other bonuses.
Class: Bard
Level: 6th and 18th
Replaces: Suggestion and Mass Suggestion bard songs.
Benefit: You lose the ability to use Suggestion and Mass Suggestion bard songs, and instead gain the Obtain Familiar feat at 6th level. If you already have a familiar, your familiar instead gains 3/4th hp of its master instead of 1/2th. At 18th level, your familiar becomes protected from danger: if the familiar dies it will automatically respawn by your side 24 hours later. You do not take any damage or experience point loss for losing your familiar. If you die, your familiar retains its familiar bonuses and actively works to bring about your revival.
Familiars which are capable of doing so can aid in your bardic music. The DCs for any of your bardic music abilities increases by +1.
