Shield Expert [Combat]
Benefit: This feat grants benefits that scale with the character's Base Attack Bonus.
- +0: You retain your shield bonus to AC when you make a shield bash attack against an opponent. You may also deal bludgeoning damage equal to normal shield spikes damage when you attack with a shield.
- +1: You may add your shield bonus to your touch AC. Once per round, you may also deflect an attack (including a touch attack) with your shield when it would otherwise hit you.
- +6: Add your shield bonus (including the shield’s enhancement bonus, if any) to attack and damage rolls when you attack with your shield. Any non-numerical enchantments (those that do not grant a flat bonus to AC) are included in the shield’s enhancement bonus according to their enhancement value, but do not contribute any other effects for offensive purposes.
- +11: An opponent whose melee attack you deflect is at your mercy. You have The Edge on every attack you make against that opponent on your next turn.
- +16: Any ranged touch attack that fails to hit you is reflected back at its source so long as you have a shield equipped.
