Mystical Backlash

Your magical abilities are too overbearing for your own body, and unless you hold back can cause you intense suffering.

Prerequisite: Must be able to cast spells.

Effect: Whenever you cast a spell you have a 15% of triggering a mystical backlash, inflicting a single point of burn upon yourself. You can only have up to 3 points of burn this way, after which you are fatigued until the point of burn is healed Each point of burn inflicted after simply deals 1 point of lethal damage per character level to yourself, which cannot be reduced and ignore any temporary hit point you may have.

You can avoid triggering this flaw by holding back when casting a spell, reducing the caster level and DCs of your spell by 2. You can safely cast spells of at least 3 levels lower than the highest level spell you can cast without needing to hold back.

Benefit: Any bonus feat for which you meet the prerequisites.
